Gorkha, July 5: As many as three people were killed while other three were injured as six people had gone missing in a landslide which occurred at Chhalimpuja of Keraunja-3 in the district today.

The deceased are Sandesh Ghale, 15, Chinmaya Gurung, 30, and Kanchhimaya Gurung 45 of the place.

Similarly, Sukram Ghale, Krishna Gurung and Tunge Gurung of Keraunja-4 are injured in the incident.

Among the injured Sukaram Gurung is in a critical state, said a local Deepak Gurung.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Machhakhola based health centre.

A helicopter has been sent to the incident site, said Chief District Officer (CDO) Narayan Prasad Bhatta.

They were buried by the landslide in course constructing a road. The incident site is 20 miles far from the district headquarters and there is no road connection. RSS
