Addressing a gathering of intellectuals organized by his party here today, DPM Thapa said the major parties should not ignore the Morcha in implementing the constitution by ensuring that they take part in the local level elections. “Local-level elections are inevitable for peace, stability and good governance and understanding among the government and major parties is essential to ensure all parties join the election process”, he said.

On the occasion, MP Ganesh Thapa and RPP leader Madhu Adhikari called for coordination and understanding between the government and major parties in order to immediately address the demands of the Madhesi morcha, and thereby make local-level elections successful. RSS
