12 – year – old Deepshikha Pariyar and seven – year – old Deepika Sunar of Ramrajyapur in Madi Municipality – 6 drowned while on a picnic with friends.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan, the girls who were half-drowned died in course of treatment.

Dinesh Pariyar’s daughter Deepshika and Durga Sunar’s daughter Deepika had gone into the pond to swim when the unfortunate incident took place. Their bodies have been kept at Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem examinations. RSS
