The flood followed by heavy rain on Thursday afternoon had swept away two girl children while crossing the rivulet, shared Police Inspector at Khambu of District Police Office, Solukhumbu, Pradhumna Adhikari.

The deceased are seven-year-old Sagar Katawal, a LKG student, and Rachana Basnet, second grader, at Nele-based Himshikhar Boarding School.

Likewise, Sanju Katawal, second grader, and Ganesh Bahadur Basnet, 25, a local, were also injured while crossing the rivulet.

The dead bodies of two children were found at around 8.00 pm on Thursday, the Police Inspector informed. RSS
